Case 1:
Optimization Solution for a telecommunication billing system.
Client’s Requirement: One of the largest telecommunication
service provider, wanted to optimize the billing systems operating costs. Critical
Issues: The operating cost of existing system was about $100 Million. The cost reduction
target was about 10%, which is about $ 10 Million. The major challenge for our team
was the complexity of the system and its interfaces.
Solution Provided: Our team has studied the different
applications with in the system and identified the areas for the cost optimization.
It also provided optimization/re-engineering solutions, helped the client in implementing
the solutions.
Benefits: The client’s
annual operating costs was reduced by about $ 12 Million.
Result: The billing optimization solutions provided
by the Gantec’s team was highly appreciated by the management of Ameritech and a
certificate of appreciation was given to Gantec by the them.

Design Solution for a telecommunications application.
Client’s Requirement: One of the largest telecommunication
service provider, wanted a design solution for managed local access billing systems
to be implemented in some of the competitive markets. Critical
Issues: The short time frame was the issue to provide
the complex solution needed.
Solution Provided: Gantec’s team has studied the requirements
and provided the high-level design solutions.
Benefits: The client was not only able to receive the
solution in short time frame.
Result: The quality of the solution enabled them to
develop and implement the system on time.

Telecommunication Billing Tables Automation
Client’s Requirement: One of the world’s largest customer
care and billing services provider wanted to optimize the billing systems operating
costs. Critical Issues: The operating cost of existing system was to be reduces
by consolidation the billing parameter tables.
Solution Provided: Our consultant has studied the requirements,
different tables, identified and consolidated the tables.
Benefits: The client’s table maintenance process was
simplified and some of the tables were automated.
Result: The solution resulted in smooth running of
the system.
